Allegria Tournament: The Final of the Second Edition Here at IULM

On Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.,the IULM Auditorium (IULM 6, Via Carlo Bo 7) will host the final of the second edition of the Allegria Tournament, the educational and social workshop created by the Mike Bongiorno Foundation, in which play becomes an opportunity for connection, growth, and learning.

Following the success of the first edition, the project returns to IULM to engage new people and communities. Inspired by Mike Bongiorno’s famous television game shows, the tournament is dedicated to people with special needs and involves organizations committed to promoting inclusive programs, with the goal of highlighting the abilities, talents, and uniqueness of each participant.

It is not merely a competition, but an experience that stimulates memory, collaboration, curiosity, and trust in oneself and others, in an atmosphere of joy, listening, and sharing.

Nicolò Bongiorno, director, author, and president of the Mike Bongiorno Foundation, will attend the final. Through the Foundation’s activities, he carries on his father’s legacy by promoting educational, social, and cultural projects grounded in the values of inclusion and participation.

Representing IULM University will be Prof. Daniela Cardini, professor of History and Languages of Television. Her presence underscores the university’s commitment to promoting projects that combine culture, education, and social responsibility.

“Allegria” (Joy) was the defining word for Mike Bongiorno, to whom IULM conferred an Honorary Master’s Degree in Television, Film, and Multimedia Production in 2007. Today, it serves as an invitation to come together, participate, and build communities that are increasingly inclusive and aware.
