The "Maria Antonietta Savoldi" Foundation, established in 1960 at the behest of the Savoldi family, aims to pay tribute to the memory of Maria Antonietta, a fourth-grade schoolgirl whose flourishing life was cut short on Feb. 18, 1957, on the way to school due to a car accident.
The Foundation intends to remind the students of Nembro of the example of a young woman who, although still at the beginning of her studies, showed a lively interest in the world of schooling and achieved brilliant results there.
Over the years, scholarships have been awarded to deserving Nembro students in elementary, middle and high school

Those who have benefited (fully or partially) from one of the "Savoldi" Scholarships put up for competition in previous academic years may not reapply for the current year's Scholarships.
