IULM at Teatro alla Scala presented video celebrating 80 years of Italian entertainment

Saturday, December 6, at Teatro alla Scala, Rector Valentina Garavaglia took part, together with AGIS President Francesco Giambrone and Superintendent Fortunato Ortombina, in the presentation of the celebratory video AGIS80, created by the video team of IULM University – Lorenzo Mosna, Emanuele Prestileo, Anna Claudia Bassani – with the contribution of students from the Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Communication, Media and Advertising and in Television, Cinema and New Media.

The video, a tribute to the diversity of the Italian performing arts world, will be screened on December 7, the anniversary of AGIS’s foundation, in participating theaters and cinemas throughout Italy.

Part of the same initiative is the event held on December 3 at the IULM campus in Rome: the presentation of the volume “Theatrical Education in Schools”, promoted by ARTI – Association of Italian Theatre Networks and INDIRE – National Institute for Educational Research, Documentation and Innovation, as part of the AGIS80 celebrations. A moment of discussion on the educational value of theatre.

The celebrations of the eightieth anniversary saw IULM play a leading role in two particularly significant institutional moments:

• the meeting at the Quirinale with President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. Read the news.
